In order to create legitimate combinations, or melds, players alternately draw cards from the draw or discard pile. Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit (a ruwww satta king comn) or three or more cards of the same rank (a set) can make up a meld. A player can place their melds on the table after they have been successfully formed. But players also need to remember that they can only lay down their melds if they have reached the minimum point requirement, which varies based on the particular rules being played.
