With one card face-up to begin the discard pile, the remaining cards form a draw pile. The goal is to create legitimate cardbig slots combinations, or melds, which can be runs (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) or sets (three or four cards of the same rank). Each player draws from the draw or discard pile, then discards one card to keep their hand size the same.
