The aim of the game, which can be played by two or more players, is to score points by forming sets and runs of cards. Each player receives a hand of cards at the start of the game, & the drteen patti listaw pile is formed by the remaining cards, which are arranged face down in the middle of the table. The discard pile is created by turning the top card in the draw pile face up. Players can choose to take the top card from the discard pile or draw a card from the draw pile during their turn. After drawing a card, they have to put the card they were holding onto the discard pile.
