The top card is turned face up next to it to start the discard pile, and the remaining cards are laid face down on the avatortable to form the draw pile. The players then alternately discard a card from their hand & draw a card from either the draw or discard pile. Until one player forms all of their cards into sets and sequences, the game goes on in this way.
