Share on Twitter Share on Facebook 3 min readMILLIONS Online returns to PartyPoker with a bang, with approximately $5.1 million guaranteed across the festival. The 2025 edition of the PartyPoker MILLIONS Online shuffles up and deals on May 8, and runs until the Main Event champions are crowned on June 3, meaning it coincides with the PokerStars Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) and GGPoker's World Festival.
MILLIONS Online has undergone several changes during its lifetime. In 2017, MILLIONS Online was a single $5,300 buy-in tournament with $5 million guaranteed. After an aggressive marketing campaign, the 2018 MILLIONS Online boasted a $20 million guarantee, which was surpassed by $1,835,000. PartyPoker increased the buy-in to $10,300 for the 2019 edition, as players created a $21,090,000 prize pool.
However, more recently, MILLIONS Online became a series of numbered and side events with much lower guarantees, reflecting the former online poker giant's fall from grace. PartyPoker's parent company, Entain, withdrew from so-called "grey markets," leaving the poker site's traffic dwindling.
The 2025 PartyPoker MILLIONS Online is strikingly similar to a pair of festivals run in 2024. The schedule features ten numbered events and more than 400 MILLIONS Online-branded side events across No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo variants.
The $530 buy-in MILLIONS Online Main Event is played as a mystery bounty tournament. Seven Day 1s, including a turbo and hyper-turbo-structured flight on June 2, should help PartyPoker hit the tournament's $500,000 guarantee.
Players can play in as many Day 1s as they wish, but only their largest stack is uploaded to Day 2 if they progress more than once. Each flight ends when only 15% of the field remains. Surviving players return to the action for Day 2 at 9:05 p.m. BST on June 2, which is when the mystery bounties come into play. Day 2 paused after 18 20-minute levels, before the champion is crowned on June 3.
