Just 15 players remain in Event #22: $25,000 High Roller 6-Handed from a massive field of 336 players.

One player who knows what it takes to win a live bracelet is Jared Bleznick. On the heels of a massive cooler late in the day, Bleznick coasted through the last level to put himself in a prime position to win WSOP titles in back-to-back years after winning his maiden bracelet in Event #92: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller for $2,037,947.

The remaining players have all locked up $87,971, with the winner set to walk away with $1,734,717.

Former Champ Friedman on Top in $10,000 Stud Championship

Adam Friedman

After a seventh-place finish in the $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship, Adam Friedman is back at it in Event #25: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship, finishing Day 1 at the top of the counts with 420,000. In 2022, Friedman won this very event after overcoming a 96-player field.

He leads from Dan Heimiller (364,500), looking to do the double after his victory in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud, and Daniel Negreanu (302,000) who is the only other player above 300,000 in chips.

As expected from a mixed game Championship event, there are plenty of big names remaining among the 46 survivors from the 100-player field. Multiple winners of the event in the past are also still in, including 2021 champion Anthony Zinno (96,000), 2023 champion Brian Yoon (188,500), and defending champion James Obst (130,000).
