II. Participation Process: From Arrival to Taking Your Seat
The first-ever international poker event in Thailand, the WPT Prime Thailand Exhibition, will be held from July 30 to August 5, 2025, at UOB LIVE in the EMSPHERE mall, Bangkok.
This guide will walk you through how to register and participate using only your mobile phone. No more waiting in line at the counter, just follow the steps below.

APU App: Your Tournament Concierge APU (Asia Poker Union) is the official WPT tournament management platform, offering features like account registration, tournament sign-up, event tracking, chip counts, and schedule reminders. It’s available for both iOS and Android. With APU, you can sync tournament data in real time and easily track your event updates.
Registration Steps (iOS Example)
1. Download & Install
Go to the App Store and search “APU Poker” or visit apudownload.com
Tap “Get” to download
2. Create Account
Open the app and tap “Register”
Enter your phone number and set a password (must include uppercase + lowercase letters and numbers, 8+ characters)
3. Real Name Verification
Go to “Profile” → tap “Real Name Verification”
Submit full name, date of birth, passport number (or national ID). Note: Once submitted, info can’t be changed
Tap Submit to complete verification
WPT Account: Your All-Access Pass
A WPT account grants access to all WPT platforms and lets you register for WPT events online or offline worldwide. You can view your tournament history, rankings, winnings, and receive official updates like event promos, strategy content, and pro player news.
Registration & Verification: 1. Register on Website
Visit: www.worldpokertour.com/signup
Click “Create Account”
Fill in username (recommended: match APU username), password, email, and check “I am 18+”
2. Sign the Agreement
Go to “Account Settings → Agreements”
Read the 2025 WPT Player Agreement (includes tournament rules, prize terms, suspension clauses, etc.)
Check “Agree” and add your e-signature
3. Email Verification
WPT will email you with subject: “Verify Your WPT Account”
If you don’t see it, check “Spam” or “Promotions” folders
Click the link to complete verification
Once verified, account status will show “Verified”. Take a screenshot for proof (required for later registration)
Reminders:
Real-name info cannot be changed after submission
Verification emails may end up in spam

II. Participation Process: From Arrival to Taking Your Seat
1. Arrive at EMSPHERE Mall
Directions: Enter via the Ground Floor (GF) main entrance → turn right toward Shake Shack → take the orange elevator to the 5th Floor
Security: Only 18+ allowed. No clothing or accessories with online poker/gambling logos
2. Buy a Package & Redeem Tickets (6F APU Desk)
Buy Package: Purchase a “Poker + Travel” package at the 6F APU counter and get complimentary tournament tickets
Redeem Ticket: Transfer tickets to your APU Backpack (wallet), ready for event registration

3. Register for Event
Once registration opens, use your ticket in the APU Backpack to sign up and obtain your Entry Pass
4. Get Your Entry Appointment Pass
Submit your Entry Pass to receive an Event Appointment Pass, which is your proof of entry
5. Enter the Tournament Hall
Show your Event Appointment Pass to security for access
6. On-Site Registration (For First-Time Players) Prepare the following:
Passport or Thai National ID
Event Appointment Pass
Verified WPT account (only needed the first time you register)
7. Get Your Seat Number
Staff will confirm your details and assign a table and seat
