Every player receives three face-down cards when playing Teen Patti Raj, and the player to the dealer's left usually goes first. Depending on the strength of their hand, players can choose to fold or wager as they go around the table in a clockwise fashion. Teen Patti Raj ranks the handssatta king game result similarly to poker, with a trail (three of a kind) being the highest hand. Pure sequence (straight flush), sequence (straight), color (flush), pair, and high card are the next few highest hands. In order to increase the excitement and risk of the game, players can also opt to play blind, which entails placing their wager without viewing their cards. In Teen Patti Raj, there are three different ways to place a bet: chaal, which is the same amount as the previous player; seen, which is twice as much as the previous player; and pack, which is folding and losing the round.
