Each player starts the game with six face-down cards. Starting with the top card turned over, the remaining cards form the drahellorummyw pile, and the discard pile is started. Each player draws one card from either pile, then they alternately discard one card. Forming runs of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, or sets of three or four cards of the same rank, is the aim.
